Amsterdam- Week 10

On to week 10 now and what have I been doing? Well I’ll tell you internet!

After getting used to the building blocks and understanding the flows of Klavyio, Larissa asked me to begin work on my next project which is to set up a gift guide to send out to our customers.

Gift Guides

The gift guide should include gifts for him/her/all and should inspire people with ideas of what to gift people during the festive period. Also, with our discount this would inspire people to come to the web shop and purchase Studio Cosima’s products.

I began with looking on our website to see which items would best suit peoples’ lifestyle, if they’re a professional worker or if they’re after timeless, minimal designs.

With a lot of Jade and Lapis scarfs yet to sell, I was tasked with pushing towards selling those products for both men and women. I felt that the green Jade scarf would best suit the target of men as the tones of green are darker which can best suit a man of the target market (30+). The lapis blue silk scarf is much longer and the softer colours from the blue would more likely to catch the eye of any woman. With the winter season coming, people are more likely to buy a large scarf to wrap up warm during the harsh winter months.

Also pushing to male consumers, we decided to try and sell the clutches. I know what you’re probably thinking… “Why the hell would a guy want a clutch?!” well just hear me out!

At Studio Cosima, our clutches are big enough to be used for functional purposes such as an iPad cover/ tablet cover. It could also be used to store valuable papers if the consumer is a working professional.

As for the women, I chose to advertise the day bag and the evening bag. These products are more likely to be used by women, the day bag is most functional with enough space for a tablet or even a book and your essentials. The design of the bag suits all kinds of styles with very minimal effort. The evening bag is the same concept but more practical for those who enjoy going on evenings out to an event/ party.

Below is the newsletter I made to be sent out to our newsletter subscribers!

With the festive season upon us, we decided to offer Gift wrapping to be added to their purchase to make the customer feel more relaxed in the sense that the wrapping had been taken care of!
