Amsterdam Week 19- Consideration


After last week’s customer Awareness task, this time I moved on to Consideration. This time it was about how to get the customer to consider your brand out of the other brands. Looking at the other points on the chart,

I chose the review/Social Media points inspired by Japanese brand @henderscheme on Instagram who also uses natural dyes on their leather much like studio Cosima. They post on their Instagram showing how their leather ages with time. So, on Studio Cosima’s website and Instagram, we would ask those with Cosima products to send over pictures of their products in use and say what they love about it as a “Social Media Take over”. Which will show the beauty of the natural leather through the changes of the leathers and how the user’s use of the leather can make it personal.

Also, the website should be altered so that reviews are seen on the products for example, a scrolling banner on the bottom of the website or in the product, reviews of customers who brought the product as apart of the description. Another idea for the description, would be to show how the customer could use it, what fits in the bag/wallet and how can they style with the bag.

I feel Studio Cosima should also produce a care for your bag extra and a how to guide to keep your natural leather protected with the cleaning products used by Studio Cosima.

Sample give away on Instagram

Using stories, posting a sneak peek of a new collection with the caption ‘Be the first to try out our new collection! Enter the competition to get your free wallet to try out for us!’. Customers would need to either tag Studio Cosima on Instagram an outfit they would wear to match one of our products or, a hashtag competition.

I feel like this part of the Customer Journey is interesting, you try to get inside the minds of a consumer and what would lead you to consider buying from a brand. Again as I didn’t fully understand this in my years at Uni, I feel in 3rd year this will help me to better understand what people are looking for and I can work towards bettering this knowledge and find new ways to get people to consider coming to Uni lead events from the Fashion department or even from my own set brief.
